Fleora collects certain personal information in order to answer your requests and fulfil your orders. This page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and what your rights are. It is written in plain language, in accordance with Quebec's Law 25.
Person responsible for personal information
Fleora is responsible for the personal information it holds. For any question about this policy or about exercising your rights: contact@fleora.ca
Information collected
Only what you voluntarily provide through the request form or by email:
- Your name and email address — so we can reply to you.
- Your phone number and city, if you provide them — for delivery logistics.
- Your project details: occasion, date, colours, approximate budget, comments.
- Any inspiration images you choose to attach.
We also keep your IP address and the date of your consent. These two items serve to limit automated submissions and to demonstrate that you did consent — they are used for no other purpose.
We collect no payment data on this site. Payments, where applicable, are handled offline.
Use
This information is used solely to:
- prepare and send you a personalised proposal;
- produce and deliver your order;
- send you our newsletter, only if you explicitly asked for it.
We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Disclosure to third parties
Your information is not shared with anyone, except where strictly necessary to fulfil your order — a courier, for instance, who then receives only the delivery address.
The website and emails are hosted by Hostinger. Anti-bot protection on the form is provided by Cloudflare, which receives your IP address for that sole purpose. This processing may take place outside Quebec; we ensure the level of protection remains adequate.
Retention period
Your information is kept for 24 months after our last exchange, then deleted automatically — including any images you attached. This deletion is permanent and carried out by a scheduled process, not by manual intervention.
Accounting records relating to a completed order are kept longer, as tax law requires.
Cookies
This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Only a technical cookie is set, to make the forms work securely; it cannot identify you and disappears when you close your browser.
Your rights
At any time you may:
- Access the information we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected.
- Request deletion of your information.
- Withdraw your consent, which ends the processing.
- Unsubscribe from the newsletter in one click, from any mailing.
Write to contact@fleora.ca. We reply within 30 days at most.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, administration access is password-protected, and the images you send us are stored in a private area that is not reachable from the web. Database backups are encrypted at rest by the host.
Complaints
If our response does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page, with a revised update date.
